Grace Hospice
IDI® Learning Space
Welcome to Grace’s October IDI® newsletter (within a newsletter)!
Each month we play around with IDI® learning— noticing how our personal background + identities shape how we make sense of the world, while getting curious about how other people see the world from the background + identities they’re coming from. (It’s a BothAnd!)
October’s IDI® Virtual Learning Space
It’s often said that “the only constant is change.” Whew! Change can be an exhausting part of being human. Autumn is a fitting time to pay attention to how change feels and honor what is most important to us, especially during times of transition.
Whenever we experience change, we draw on patterns shaped by our cultures, identities, roles, and past experiences. Even when we are moving through the same change with others, we may not experience or respond to it in the same way. In this virtual learning session, we’ll explore these patterns through the IDI® lens of Minimization and consider how our personal Change Inheritance shapes the ways we interpret and respond to what is happening around us.
Thursday, October 8th | 12:00-1:00pm
