Pastor Kelly Chatman is a nationally recognized leader in multiculturalism, community engagement, and congregational revitalization. Rev Chatman is the visionary behind the Center for Leadership and Neighborhood Engagement (CLNE), a North Minneapolis-based nonprofit that mobilized congregations and leaders as powerful neighborhood-based agents for positive social change. Prior to establishing CLNE, Kelly dedicated two decades to serving as pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church and as Executive Director of Redeemer Center for Life in North Minneapolis's Harrison neighborhood.
With a rich background spanning pastoral roles, nonprofit leadership, and educational positions, Rev. Chatman has left an indelible mark on communities in Washington, D.C.; Portland, Oregon; and Minneapolis, Minnesota. His influence extends beyond local congregations, having served in diverse capacities, including as a chaplain, dean, and director within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.PK is an IDI Qualified Administrator.

My name is Abby Anderson. I use coaching, consulting, and facilitation to support folks who want to embed equity and belonging principles into the fabric of their organization and leadership. The Justice Walk grew out of my desire to provide a resource I wish I’d had early in my own journey to see and undermine racism and other oppressions.Before starting The Justice Walk, I spent nearly 20 years working in nonprofits, more than a decade of that as executive director of a CT statewide policy and advocacy organization. During that time, I experienced a reckoning, learning to see and then how to change personal and organizational policies and practices I upheld that excluded and “othered.”
I founded The Justice Walk with a commitment to use my on-going personal and professional equity and belonging growth experiences to walk with and encourage others to center those elements in their leadership. I support individuals and organizations to expand their thinking around who we see as leaders and experts, who belongs, and who we leave out of our organizations. My goal is to normalize discomfort, encourage risk-taking, and mitigate fear as I walk alongside individuals and organizations committed to implementing new ways of showing up, leading, and acting.
I am a certified coach through the Academy of Creative Coaching.
I am a Certified Diversity-to-Belonging Facilitator through Veritas Culture.

Lillie Benowitz (she/they) is a relationship weaver and facilitator who creates spaces for connection, creativity, and community. They founded Sustain Studio, a hub for intentional gatherings and creative facilitation that nurtures ways of being together that sustain life.
Lillie draws on expertise in experience design, culture change, and spiritual nourishment to support individuals, groups, and organizations. She is especially energized by projects that spark new ways of relating—with ourselves, with each other, and with the sacred in our lives.
Her background includes curating climate programming and working with organizations dedicated to spirituality and social healing, including The On Being Project. Lillie is a Jewish Studio Process Facilitator and a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory.

Reubenna Cooley is an experienced HR professional and IDI QA, deeply passionate about leveraging the IDI to foster equity and inclusion within organizations. In her role as a HR Director, she has witnessed firsthand the transformative impact that a commitment to cross-cultural understanding, acceptance, and integration can have in an organization.
A lifelong learner, she is honored to share the IDI with others and continually learns from the individuals she encounters.

An experienced and adaptive leader, Ellen brings a strong background in nonprofit leadership, project management, stakeholder and community engagement, strategic planning, and organizational development.
Ellen is a skilled facilitator and collaborator with deep experience in process design, program evaluation, personnel management, organizational culture, and nonprofit financial management. She is dedicated to advancing racial justice and gender equity through personal actions, by coaching workplace leaders, and developing and implementing intentional policies and programs. She also loves playing music with friends and spending time outside with her dog.

Ian Gibbs-Hall is a seasoned facilitator and consultant specializing in leadership development, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and organizational transformation. With a background in chemistry, Ian brings a unique analytical perspective to his work, enabling him to identify patterns and foster systemic change within organizations.
As the founder of Sonder Curiosity Architects, Ian collaborates with leaders, teams, and organizations to unlock new ways of thinking, guiding them toward more inclusive and effective practices. His approach is deeply rooted in fostering curiosity and self-awareness, empowering individuals to recognize and challenge existing paradigms.
Ian's experience spans facilitating workshops and trainings across various sectors from multinational corporations and local non-profits. He has also taught intercultural development at the graduate level, demonstrating his commitment to education and continuous learning.

Tessa “Tess” Gittleman is a Relationship & Systems Therapist, Supervisor, and Educator with over a decade of experience helping individuals, relationships, and organizations move out of patterns of ambivalence, moral injury, and chronic polarization. Whether in the office, boardroom, or classroom, Tess partners with high-capacity professionals and mission-driven teams who are ready to stop managing symptoms and start addressing the underlying dynamics that drive them. Her style is direct, collaborative, and disarmingly human — turning rupture into repair, chaos into community, and resistance into relational resilience.
Her clinical lens aligns seamlessly with the mission of BothAnd Collective, adding a systemic perspective and clinical precision that helps to illuminate what is fueling organizational breakdowns, driving burnout cycles, and compounding culture friction. Tess works to equip both the individuals and the leaders with the skills to respond creatively without compromising their core values. Tessa Gittleman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in multiple states, an AAMFT, MN BBHT, & MN BMFT Approved Supervisor, and a Graduate-Level Course Instructor at St. Mary’s University. She operates her private practice out of Golden Valley, MN, where she specializes in working with those who are Twice Exceptional, living with Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder, and/or are in an intercultural relationship.

Born and raised in Central NY state, Julia Hobday has lived in small towns, big cities, and rural villages both domestically and internationally. No matter the setting, Julia believes that community thrives when its rich layers of difference are noticed, named, and uplifted. She loves working with people from across the beautiful spectrum of culture and considers her work “bridge-building”: connecting diverse perspectives in a variety of environments.
Julia is a Certified Professional Diversity Coach with Coach Diversity Institute, a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and Intercultural Conflict Styles (ICS), and a trained Racial Justice Facilitator. She holds an Advanced Certificate in Equity and Diversity from the University of Minnesota, and is proficient in Spanish.
As an intercultural coach and facilitator of learning, Julia is committed to offering fertile ground, sharing a brave space to help clients discover who they are culturally and embrace their unique blend of identities. With Julia, clients build self and other-awareness to better understand, appreciate, and bridge differences toward effective communication and deeper, meaningful relationships. Julia accompanies clients as they explore what is holding them back and the inner strengths that will propel them forward. With Julia, clients feel supported, challenged, and empowered. By the end of the work, clients will have built skills to navigate the complexities of our interconnected world with confidence and sensitivity.

Paul Johnson is the Organizational Development and Equity Partner at the City of Plymouth, where he is committed to transforming workplace culture to one in which employees feel valued, heard, and empowered to contribute meaningfully. He aims to help organizations navigate difficult conversations, build accountability, and create inclusive environments. He is also particularly interested in examining the experience of shame for white folks, helping others heal from shame with the goal of effective allyship.

Joy Kluttz-Horton (she/her) Is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Director at the MN Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). In her role she leads the planning and strategic direction of DEI initiatives across the agency.
Before joining DLI, she worked at Minnesota Management & Budget (MMB) as a DEI as Learning & Development Consultant and at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) as a DEI Training and Development Specialist.
Prior to working for the State, Joy spent over 20 years working in Higher Education leading departments that supported the institutions Diversity, Equity and Inclusion mission and goals.
Additionally, Joy is an adjunct faculty member at Southern New Hampshire University and teaches Cultural Awareness and Online Learning.
Joy holds, M.A in Organizational Management from Concordia University, B.S. in Sociology from University of Wisconsin- River Falls and a diploma in Multicultural Human Resources from Dakota County Technical College. In addition to her formal education, she is an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Qualified Administrator, and has extensive training and background in Social Justice, Intergroup Dialogue, Restorative Justice, and Cross-cultural Communications.

Jared is a coach and facilitator working at the intersection of personal growth, social change, and inner transformation. He supports people navigating life transitions with clarity and purpose. He is the co-founder of Three Arrows Coaching and the founder of Heal for Change, where he focuses on the individual and collective inner work needed to create meaningful, lasting change.
He's also a vinyl DJ, musician, avid reader, active meditator, and father of teenage twins.

Andrew Knips is a lifelong student, educator, and coach. His work operates at the intersection of education (coaching and facilitation), content design (writing and workshops), and data (tools and analytics). He is the founder of intersections™, a culture strategy consulting company that helps schools and organizations thrive.
Andrew co-authored Equity in Data: A Framework for What Counts in Schools, and has been published widely. He regularly contributes to his Substack, where he writes about whiteness and masculinity. In his spare time, he enjoys playing semiprofessional table tennis, studying nerdy board games, and spending time with his partner, child, and two cats.

Joayne Larson facilitates transformation and wellbeing through a host of modalities. She supports individuals and groups with a collaborative, holistic and inclusive approach to wellness coaching, spiritual development, experiential learning and facilitation.
Raised in rural North Dakota with a healthy dose of curiosity about the broader world, Joayne’s professional roots lie in education and have expanded to leadership development, intercultural competence and healing. She holds a master’s degree in International Training and Education , is a trauma-informed Professional Certified Coach, a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), Intercultural Conflict Styles, and the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI). She believes inventories are tools to promote interpersonal skill development, not boxes or set descriptors, and she coaches people to combine what they already know about themselves and others to reach their goals. She is also a certified practitioner of the Akashic Records and a student of Healing Touch.
She has lived and worked abroad and domestically and currently runs her consulting practice from Minneapolis where she is also busy raising and learning from two amazing children. It’s her greatest joy to be of service to someone’s path to purpose and collaborate to support growth and transformation.

Laurie McGinley is a transformation guide and consultant whose work sits at the intersection of neuroscience, identity, and human potential. She supports ambitious, mission-driven people in dissolving the internal structures that limit their expression, creativity, and leadership.
Laurie’s approach is rooted in deep attunement, somatic awareness, and the belief that presence creates the conditions for real change. Through her framework, The Dissolve, she helps founders, teams, and world-builders shift from pressure to rhythm and from self-protection to possibility.
She holds a background in architecture, neurochange facilitation, and endurance athletics, all of which inform her commitment to precision, coherence, and grounded transformation. Laurie lives her work in real time, teaching others to move through the world with clarity, openness, and unarmored power.

A native of Chicago – the city of her heart – Joyce received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University and a Master of Arts in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Joyce spent an extended period of her career with the Canadian Pacific Railroad where she served as Director of Personnel, managing human resources for their U.S. operations and its 5,500 employees. She has also served in human resource management for Honeywell's Commercial Aviation Systems Division.
Prior to her retirement in September 2022, she served as the CHRO/VP for Lutheran Social Service of MN for 22 years. In her capacity as CHRO she provided the strategic direction and leadership for the organization’s HR function. She launched the organization’s Anti-Racism and DE&I work in 2007 and became a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory and IDP in 2016. She is certified in Organizational Development by the National Training Institute in Bethel, Maine, and in Change Management from the Institute of Practitioners of Change in Calgary, Alberta. In 2009,
Joyce was recognized by the Catholic Spirit of the Archdiocese of Minneapolis and St. Paul with a Leading with Faith Award, and is an alumna of the Shannon Institute with the Wilder Foundation.

David Scherer is an educator, trainer, and performer who has helped facilitate healing justice for individuals and organizations for the past 20+ years. A Qualified Administrator in the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), a certified facilitator for the Kaleidoscope Institute, and a trained practitioner of Restorative Justice Circles, David brings an invitational approach to intercultural development and anti-racism that avoids guilt, blame, and shame.
He has taught Intercultural Development at the graduate level and has facilitated hundreds of trainings and workshops around the US and beyond for multinational corporations and local non-profits alike.

Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Somatic EducatorMy academic background is in sociology - the study of how systems impact our sense of ourselves and each other and these explorations have often had a focus on race. In 2018 I was introduced to the embodied or somatic dimension of racial justice and anti-oppression work, and ever since, I have been studying and practicing embodied antiracism with mentors and community, now co-facilitating this work of building antiracist culture and community alongside beloved friends. These experiences included apprenticing for a time with Rachel Martin, learning from Resmaa Menakem’s work, and being mentored by Susan Raffo and Tracy Williams. In order to grow my capacity for somatic work with groups and individuals, I completed the three-year certificate program in Somatic Experiencing (more info here). My world and community has been touched by trauma in so many ways and I am deeply grateful to have found my way into practices that can make a tangible difference for anyone carrying the impacts of overwhelming experience - from the personal to the collective.

Dr. Alicia Wargo lives in Brooklyn, NY, and is an experienced educator, racial equity consultant, and leadership coach. She has two decades of experience facilitating learning experiences for adults in educational and organizational contexts. Much of her work as a facilitator focuses on creating spaces where individuals can share their lived experiences to engage in intra- and cross-racial conversations about race and identity. This learning always happens through the deepening of relationships: relationships with self, with other workshop participants, and with Alicia as the facilitator.
Dr. Wargo received her Ph.D. in Leadership and Change from Antioch University and holds an M.Ed. from Bank Street College of Education. Her doctoral dissertation, titled Embracing the Both/And: Learning from the Lived Experiences of White Facilitators of Racial Equity Work,” published in February 2025, offers examples of the complexity of occupying a White racial identity while working to challenge systemic inequities.
Alicia is passionate about supporting other White people on their respective journeys towards building the skills to interrupt whiteness in themselves and others. Dr. Wargo believes that White people must both spend time interrogating whiteness in affinity spaces and strive to embody the humility required for multi-racial coalition building. She co-leads this work with an open heart, creating space for authentic connection, reflection, and opportunities to collectively determine a course forward.

Richard Webb is the Principal Consultant for Second Layer Consulting. He has worked in different capacities training and facilitating experiences that support successful racial and multicultural inclusiveness within diverse environments. He has worked in educational, corporate and nonprofit institutions as an innovator, bridge builder, voice and practitioner. He uses developmental approaches that yield demonstrated behavioral outcomes for individuals and organizations that are goal driven and multicultural/racial proactive and responsive.
Richard as an administrator, instructor, coach, trainer, and consultant, has a gift in focusing on the strengths of his clients and communicates how their set of unique qualities contribute to leadership development and management performance. He is known for his expertise and strategic use of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) in leadership development of individuals and teams, as well as in enhancing organizations’ Diversity and Inclusion strategies. He is valued by his clients for designing and facilitating authentic and positive learning environments that support awareness, growth, and transformation.
Richard received his Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with an emphasis in Ethnic Studies from the University of Northern Iowa and Master's of Arts in Education with emphasis in Leadership from Augsburg College.
