Welcome to Grace’s June IDI® newsletter (within a newsletter)!
Each month we play around with IDI learning— noticing how our personal background + identities shape how we make sense of the world, while getting curious about how other people see the world from the background + identities they’re coming from. (It’s a BothAnd!)
Who are you, today?
Kiddos are almost done with school…the joy & anxiety of transition— and the freedom of summer!— is buzzing in the air (at least in my house!).
Remember a time when you went through a major milestone? Maybe you currently are! A time in our life when something ended, something began, and we had to rediscover who we are becoming.
As adults this is deeply layered, we’ve been around a while! We carry many past versions of ourselves with us, and those past selves still shape how we lead, care, communicate, protect, and react today.
Hats off to you— to who you’ve been, who you are, and who you are still becoming!

June’s IDI® Virtual Learning Space
This month we’ll consider the cultural identities most influential in our lives right now and how they shape our perspectives toward cultural commonalities and differences.
This session is an invitation to slow down, reflect honestly, and notice the many layers of cultural identities you bring to your Grace team, caregiving, and collaboration.

June’s In-Person Workshop!
As summer heats up and Grace continues to grow, it’s a good time to pause and ask: How do we work together—and why do we do it that way?
Our June in-person workshop invites us to look beneath everyday team habits, expectations, and norms to notice how culture shapes collaboration, decision-making, conflict, and pace.
Facilitated by Reubenna Cooley, Joyce Norals, & Jen Mohr— we hope you’ll join us for reflective conversation about strengthening the way we work together with more honesty, curiosity, and care.
