We want change. We want equity. We want justice.
We know the status quo isn’t working—and that for centuries it has harmed people from marginalized communities. So we organize. We march. We teach, coach, consult, and legislate. We dedicate ourselves to creating a more just world.
And sometimes, we see progress. Policies shift. Behaviors change. Culture moves. These wins matter—they are meaningful and hard-won. And yet, many of us are left with an unspoken question: Is this leading to the deeper change we’re actually seeking?
Too often, we stay caught in cycles of urgency and struggle—doing more, pushing harder, and sacrificing ourselves in the process. Burnout sets in. Resentment builds. Polarization deepens. Without realizing it, we begin to recreate the very dynamics we’re trying to dismantle.
Heal for Change invites a different approach.
This workshop is grounded in a simple but radical premise: sustainable social change requires inner work. If we don’t tend to our own wounds, we risk reenacting them—within our movements, organizations, and communities. Healing isn’t a detour from the work; it’s essential to doing it well.
Designed for facilitators, activists, organizers, and change-makers, this experience creates space to pause, reflect, and reorient. Together, we’ll explore tools, frameworks, and perspectives that support both personal and collective healing. We’ll examine how internalized patterns shape external systems, and how greater self-awareness can interrupt burnout, reactivity, and division.
You’ll leave feeling more grounded, resourced, and connected—better equipped to pursue change with clarity, resilience, and care.
Because the master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house. Because hurt people hurt people. And because healed people heal people—and the world.
