Embracing the Both/And: A Reimagined White Accountability Space

A 3-part series of hour-long workshops offered to White individuals designed to support collaborative learning framed by the essential question: What does it mean to be White and work for racial justice?

Sessions consist of a guided question, a grounding moment, exploratory content, and quotes, followed by opportunities for reflection and guided discussion.

Workshop Topics:

  • Session 1: Do we want to be Good or do we want to be Effective?

  • Session 2: Does the desire to be the “Special One” our ability to impact change?

  • Session 3: Why is navigating pushback, feedback, or different perspectives so hard?

Facilitated by Alicia Wargo, Ph. D.
