Excavating the Both/And: A Reimagined White Accountability Space

A 3-part series of 75-minute workshops offered to White individuals designed to support collaborative learning framed by the essential question: What does it mean to be White and work for racial justice?

Sessions consist of a guided question, a grounding moment, exploratory content, and quotes, followed by opportunities for reflection and guided discussion.

Workshop Topics:

  • Session 1: Exploring urgency: What does this reveal about our desire to “fix it”?

  • Session 2: Examining Shame and Blame: What strategies do we use to escape our whiteness?

  • Session 3: Embodying Humility: How can we quiet the ego to center connection?

Facilitated by Alicia Wargo, Ph. D.
